I'm usually a fan of Extended Stay America thanks to their top-notch service. However, my experience at the Reston location was a letdown. I asked for two sets of bowls and cups but was told they only provide one. I ended up at Target to buy what I needed. This location felt sketchy, with unlit parking lots. Despite being in a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of marijuana and cigarettes that intensified at night. The bathroom fan, which helped with the smell, sounded like a long explosion. The rooms appeared unclean, with a door that seemed to have been forced open, a broken latch, and unscrewed knobs. The bathroom was dirty, with dirt on the floors and mildew in the shower. The A/C unit had to be turned off due to a moldy smell. This location doesn't seem to uphold the usual standards of the chain.

Never again, first room was reaping a terrible high smell of mold and mildew (Room 171) was able to change rooms. Second room was a little bit better. Shower was dirty as well as along the base boards in the bathroom and in the room. Could be a bit more tidy. Lots of activity happening around this place. Not good for me had to quickly change hotels for the remainder of my week long stay in the area.

I really like and enjoy My stay. Shiraz and kumar are the Best, they always take care the guedt. Room was very Nice and clean. I like to cook ando they gave me dishes for free. Thanks alto. We always stay here

This place seems to do the best that they can with what they have. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful but unfortunately the atmosphere is a little scary. Would not recommend for any unseasoned travelers or families with young kids. My sheets had clearly not been changed by the long strands of black hair remaining under the covers, the room smelled as bad as the inside of an ashtray & the shower was terrifying BUT if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head for one night it’s doable.

The people next door smoked out front of my room many times filled my room with smoke. Room could use some maintenance shower head, toilet seat. Overall good price location nice people at front desk. Negative: ""
